Failed upwards

I fucked it up! A bit, and not as much as last time, but I still managed to destroy my DNS records and take my blog offline for an hour, even within the friendly padded playground of Netlify. Should I maybe stop trying to migrate my blog late at night with wine? Who can say.

Drafts - or possibly mobile editing - or possibly my internet connection - are a little weird on mobile.. it took me a while to persuade it that I wanted to start a new paragraph instead of typing this into the middle of the last one.. but! It is possible!

And this has on the whole, Sanity CMS on mobile notwithstanding, gone a lot better than last time, when it took me 6 months to realise I had accidentally deleted everything beyond the homepage. Only an hour's downtime!

In other news, I discovered just before new year that I am apparently an inch taller than I was in 2008, which in turn was an inch taller than I had been in 1996. I have therefore calculated that at this current steady growth rate of 2 inches per ~25 years, I will be 6' tall by the year 2223. Upwards! (see?)

(It did take two goes to get this calculation, this giving me a valuable opportunity to see if the description on the homepage will update automatically, or whether I need to do something else to fire that off. I am so lined in silver, it's a wonder I can still move)
