I went away! That was - what, a month, tops, that I managed to post? (There are dates, I can see, it was less than that.)

My phone finally died. It's the first time I've seen a phone through to a natural death without suffering the usual smashed screen, you have to open apps via a different universe stage. I feel like such an adult! But there it was, completely unresponsive (it was a Samsung, and when even the Bixby button fails to produce a reaction you know it's gone gone.)

I realise I spent a while before (back in the posting times) moaning that I couldn't post on my phone anyway, and that this therefore makes no sense as an excuse. I embrace it as such.

But my domain is up for renewal, and I'm switching registrars - although something a bit confusing happened at the payment stage, so I'm not entirely sure what's going on with that. But I know I have form for screwing up changes with this blog, so this is partly me writing something now because - as ever - the renewal emails reminded me that I should be doing something with it.

Partly because emailing the URL to the support team represents a 33% increase in readership outreach on my part (Hi Freethought Sales Support, if you're listening! I'm sorry I didn't take that screenshot, my frontline past self is rolling in its grave) (it's me, I am the grave of my past self).
